Hi, I am Amanda!
Founder of Seventh Arrow Studio, mom to Charlie and James, forever traveler, and fully functioning only because of my daily quad shot iced coffee. Non negotiable.
I came back to Buffalo for my people, my family, the ones who matter most. But honestly my heart always has one foot out the door chasing new places, new light, and new stories. That push and pull between home and adventure is a big part of who I am and if you look closely you can see it in the way I shoot.
Here is the thing about photography that gets me every single time. A photo is the only thing that says forever that I was there. That I witnessed that. That this moment was real and it happened and it mattered. That concept has never stopped moving me and I do not think it ever will.
I started Seventh Arrow Studio in 2016 after spending time in Boston as both a photographer and wedding planner, came home to Buffalo where I belong, and have been showing up fully for every real, messy, beautiful, completely irreplaceable moment ever since.
I cannot wait to meet you. And yes I will probably have an iced coffee in my hand when I do.

Hey lovers! I’m Sarah
AKA…the tattooed ginger half of Seventh Arrow. I’m a cat mom, food fanatic, music junkie, and lifelong artist.
Photography has been part of my life since the 90s. My mom documented everything growing up, and now I have shelves full of albums from my childhood. At the time it felt a little excessive, but now those photos are some of my most treasured memories, especially the ones of my grandparents and the love they shared.
That’s what photography means to me. Freezing a moment so you can come back to it again and again.
Seeing couples together and capturing what makes their connection unique is one of the best feelings in the world. Let’s hang out, grab a slice of pizza, have some fun, and just be yourselves.

AfTER A DECADE OF DOING THIS TOGETHER.
Sarah and Amanda have been photographing weddings together for over ten years, and at this point, we finish each other’s sentences on a wedding day. We know where the other is going to be before either of us gets there.
We can each lead a wedding. We can each photograph it beautifully on our own. But when we’re together, there’s a rhythm that only comes from a decade of doing this side by side.
Whether your wedding is photographed by one of us, a two-photographer team, or Amanda + Sarah together, the Seventh Arrow approach doesn’t change.
The same artistic eye. The same attention to what matters. The same instinct for when to step in and when to let the moment happen.
